Built for Bowling AND a 21st Century Bowling Experience
Lunar Bowl is a 38,000 sq ft building that was designed from the ground up FOR bowlers! Our building was not “formerly” anything! The tilt-up concrete panel design offers clear spans…which means no support posts in the middle of the bowling lanes.
The theme, logo, and interior design was done by Tom Nicholas, including hand-trawling the craters on the building’s exterior and painting the sky and cloud mural on the concourse ceiling. Thanks, Tom! The continuous masking unit was the first of its kind in the United States when the center was built in 2001.
Inside the Lounge is “THE” Blue Moon. It spans 52-ft in circumference, was built in Indiana and transported to Missouri in 3 pieces.
